Linda Fairstein is an American author and former Manhattan Assistant District Attorney in charge of the sex crimes unit. She is best known for her Alexandra Cooper series inspired by her time in the district attorney's office. Some of the more recent books in the series include Death Angel, Terminal City, and Devil's Bridge. Her first book, Final Jeopardy, was published in 1996. In 2010 she was won the Silver Bullet Award from the International Thriller Writers.
