The veteran Christian alt-metallers' follow-up to 2021's largely acoustic affair, Songs of Death and Resurrection, the ambitious Exile is Demon Hunter's first conceptual LP. Set in the aftermath of a society-leveling world event, the dystopian 12-song set includes guest appearances from Max Cavalera (Soulfly), Tom S. Englund (Evergrey), and Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest), the latter of whom lends his six-string chops to the blazing single "Godless." ~ James Christopher Monger
