Among the most neglected of idioms are the oral religious traditions of Europe, and particularly western Europe. Corsica -- Religious Music of the Oral Tradition offers recordings of an ancient polyphonic church style from the remote village of Rusiu that are probably unique: certainly nothing is quite like them (some Sardinian singing is loosely similar).
