Yolanda Dennis Belvin was born in November, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois where she lived with her parents and three siblings. Her initial spiritual training came through her pastoral grandparents in Detroit Michigan who introduced her to the "Pentecostal Movement". In 1969 her family moved to Los Angeles, California and there she connected with the “Faith/Charismatic Movement.” In the mid l 970's she began writing reflective thoughts in a small blue journal. Professionally, Yolanda has worked primarily in the legal industry and secondarily to that for solo-entrepreneurs. For over the past 40 years she has relied on Christian tenets and principles to guide her faith walk. As a disciple, she has volunteered in various churches throughout Los Angeles County in California assisting in Children's Art Academy, Outreach Program, Evangelism Team, Prayer Team, Praise Dance Team, and the Bookstore ministry. In 2015, she and family members moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she now resides. Yolanda is currently working on a hardcopy of "Selah on the Journey" with more poetry and prophetical thoughts.
