About the Author

Yung Suk Kim (Ph.D., Vanderbilt University) is Associate Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at the School of Theology at Virginia Union University. He is the author of Christ's Body in Corinth (2008) and A Theological Introduction to Paul's Letters (2011). His forthcoming books deal with aspects of healthy biblical interpretation and human transformation: Biblical Interpretation (2012); A Transformative Reading of the Bible (2013); Truth, Testimony, and Transformation (2013). He received a Lilly Theological Scholar Grant for a project on the Fourth Gospel during 2011-12. He edited a volume on 1-2 Corinthians (2013). Kim serves as the editor of the Journal of Bible and Human Transformation.
