Overview

This Halcyon Classics ebook collection contains three works by Niccolò Machiavelli, a sixteenth-century Florentine diplomat and writer who is widely regarded as one of the founders of Political Science.

Machiavelli's writings, particularly THE PRINCE and the THE ART OF WAR are known for their tacit endorsement of deceit and underhanded tactics to achieve victory. Machiavelli's name has become synonymous with this brand of power politics (Machiavellian), and Machiavelli has contributed the phrase "the end justifies the means" to contemporary usage. Includes an active table of contents for easy navigation.

• The Prince
• The Art of War
• History of Florence
