Widow Lola Engel owns the only fancy shoe store in Hellfire, Texas, but selling shoes to housewives can be a tad boring. Daniel Flannigan doesn't have the patience to play games. He's a serious firefighter and he has a problem with trumped up calls that take time and effort away from real emergencies. When a particularly sexy widow cries wolf once too often, he takes the call with the intention of teaching the woman a valuable lesson.
