This action film featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme, and brimming with special effects, is based upon a popular video game. It is targeted for children. Col. Guile is the military commander of the Allied Nations forces. Their assignment is to crush General Bison, the evil, psychotic dictator of Shadaloo, and free 63 relief workers whom Bison has held captive. Guile is forced to step down after he vigorously protests the Allied Nations capitulation to Bison's demands and they his desired ransom. Guile is teed off and promptly forms a small force of guerrilla street-fighters to take on Bison face-to-face.
