Things turn around when one of their members proposes utilizing their talents, not toward the battlefield, but toward a new endeavor; reaching the moon.
Rafael Estrella's Dual Language Library is dedicated to bringing classic titles to a bilingual interlinear format specifically for e-Books. This version brings you "From the Earth to the Moon" by Jules Verne. I have translated this book from start to finish with an interlinear format in mind. Any mistakes made on behalf of the original author have been kept and translated as they appear. Due to the length of certain sentences, unusual interruptions have been made to try and maintain a more consistent interlinear format. Jules Gabriel Verne was born February 8th, 1828 in Nantes France and died on March 24th, 1905 in Amiens, France. He wrote From the Earth to the Moon in 1865. There have been several translations made of this book. This, however, is the first translation that I know of that has been formatted specifically to accomodate the interlinear format. All of the archaic phrasings and vocabulary have been preserved in the French language, but a moderate attempt was made in the English translation to use more modern terms and vocabulary.
The illustrations used were the original ones provided by Henri de Montaut. Except for the Phases of the Moon and the Map of the Territory of Florida, which I recreated to include the English translations.

Les choses s'améliorent quand un de leurs membres propose qu'ils utilisent leurs talents, non pas vers le champ de bataille, mais vers une nouvelle entreprise; atteindre la lune.
La « Bibliothèque de Langage Double Rafael Estrella » est dédié aux titres classiques à textes parallèles/ texte alternant (français/anglais) adaptés pour e-books. Cette version vous apporte « De la Terre à la Lune » de Jules Verne. J'ai traduit ce livre du début à la fin avec un format interlinéaire à l'esprit. Les erreurs commises par l'auteur original ont été conservés et traduits tels qu'ils apparaissent. En raison de la longueur de certaines phrases, les interruptions inhabituelles ont été faits pour essayer de maintenir un format interlinéaire qui est plus cohérente.
