About the Author

Alicia Tyler spearheaded the launch of the Clean Eating magazine in 2007. In addition to her role at the magazine, Tyler also oversees Vegetarian Times, an online magazine; is the author of three previous Best of Clean Eating cookbooks; is the co-creator of the Clean Eating Academy; the brand’s online cooking school; and is a program adviser for Centennial College in Toronto, Canada. She lives in Toronto, Canada, where she eats her way through the city one new restaurant at a time, visits farmers’ markets spring through fall, and experiments cooking all types of cuisines for her husband (and, occasionally, their two small dogs). Launched in 2007 when the US recession hit, Clean Eating thrived at a very unlikely time and quickly grew to compete for market share against some of the biggest and best cooking magazines on newsstands. A pioneer of the clean-eating movement, Clean Eating (cleaneating.com) is the authority on the popular lifestyle.
