Overview

Love for animals led the English naturalist Charles Darwin to discover something of capital importance: that all species of living beings have evolved from a common ancestor, through a process called natural selection. With this great discovery, which Darwin called the theory of evolution, he came to revolutionize science, religion and philosophy. This is the story of the journey that allowed Charles Darwin to make these discoveries, as well as the effect they had on the society of the time.
