Overview

"A delightfully intriguing murderer mystery."
"A fun, fast and hilariously funny mystery."

A wedding cruise, dangerous secrets, and a troupe of performing cats. What could go wrong?

When Frankie Chandler boards an Alaskan cruise ship, she's hardly a cheerful advertisement for sailing the ocean blue. Her best (and only) friend is getting married, which means the end of impromptu girl's nights. Her only consolation is the all-night buffet, but even that can't make up for the body she discovers below her balcony. The only witnesses are a troupe of performing cats. Just when things can't get any more bizarre, Detective Martin Bowers joins the cruise in Juneau, and the investigation isn't the only thing about to heat up.

Mystery meets Romantic Comedy in this latest Frankie Chandler adventure. Irreverent humor, snappy dialogue, and a cast of quirky characters will have you laughing out loud.

About the Author

Jacqueline Vick writes mysteries that feature farcical situations and satirical humor. She writes about characters who are reluctant to accept their greatest (and often embarrassing) gifts.
She is the author of THE FRANKIE CHANDLER PET PSYCHIC MYSTERIES about a woman who, after faking her psychic abilities for years, discovers animals can communicate with her. The series evolved out of her desperate attempts to train a rescued mutt with fear-based aggression. Two visits with animal communicators inspired the article Calling All Canine Clairvoyants for Fido Friendly Magazine.
Her first mystery, Family Matters, was a semifinalist in the 2009 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Competition. Her short stories have appeared in numerous publications, including Future Mystery Anthology Magazine and The Best of Everyday Fiction Two Anthology. Her novella, Lovely As, was a finalist for the Black Orchid Novella Contest.
When she isn’t writing, Jacqueline enjoys acting as the neighborhood dog sitter and testing new recipes on her long-suffering husband.
