On Saturno, his ambitious third long-player, reggaetonero Rauw Alejandro decided on the concept of interplanetary space travel and world-building through an infectious methodology that infused his experimental reggaeton soundscapes with elements of 1980s hip-hop and new wave, electronic funk, traces of techno, and pop. Co-produced with longtime friends Kenobi and Mr. Naisgai, the 18-track album follows a loopy narrative interspersed with skits, conversations, and an interlocking set of infectious original tunes. Its songs offer guest spots by reggaeton pioneer El Playero as well as Arcangel, Baby Rasta, Chris Palace, Subelo NEO, Brray, and Lyanno.
