Sony Legacy's Playlist: The Very Best of Blue Oyster Cult plays out like most B.O.C. compilations by providing listeners with the essentials "(Don't Fear) The Reaper," "Godzilla," "Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll," and "Burning for You," then filling the rest of the collection with album cuts. While it may be part of a budget-priced, environmentally friendly series that purports to provide fans with "the life-changing songs, the out-of-print tracks, the hits, the fan favorites everyone loves, and the songs that make the artists who they are", the end results differ little from previous overviews. ~ James Christopher Monger
