LUCA BIANCHINI and ANNA TROMBETTA are musicians and musicologists who graduated with honours in musicology from the School of Palaeography and Musical Philology in Cremona. For many years, they have been revising the musical works by Cimarosa, Paisiello, Pacini, Mascagni, Zingarelli, Donizetti, Vivaldi, Mayr, Bruni and Jommelli. They discovered Johann Simon Mayr’s first Werther in opera form, performed in Germany at the Rossini Festival in Wildbad. They have been collaborating with record companies and music industries; they published Mozart, La costruzione di un genio, 2019; Mozart Il flauto magico, 2018; Mozart, La caduta degli dei–Parte prima, 2016; Mozart, La caduta degli dei–Parte seconda, 2017; Mozart, L’aria della Contessa, 2008; Teresina Tua, L’angelo del violino; Goethe, Mozart e Mayr fratelli illuminati, 2001 for Arché. They edited the Toberne by Bruni for LIM, published biographies, essays, articles, hundreds of piano music and orchestral scores. From 2016 to 2019, they recorded two cycles of twenty-four episodes for the Vatican Radio in the broadcast “L’Arpeggio” by Luigi Picardi. They lectured and wrote articles as well as CD liner notes. On the 26th of October 2016, they were invited to Rome to the Hall of the Parliamentary groups in the Chamber of Deputies as speakers to present their books and the discovery of new musical documentation. In 2017, they held a lecture on Mozart, The Fall of the Gods at the Michelangelo Abbado Civic School of Music in Milan. They were invited to Cremona Musica 2018, the world’s number one fair trade centre for musical instruments, and spoke about their book Mozart, The Fall of the Gods. In Venice, they talked about their research at the Casanova Lounge of the prestigious Venier Palace. In Sassari, they inaugurated the 2019 musical season of the Melos Festival.
