Klaus Schulze's 1979 masterwork, LIVE, finally gets its due as a reissue courtesy of Ryko. Schulze's 12th overall and first live release, LIVE's four epic tracks were culled from performances in Berlin in 1976 and Amsterdam and France in 1979 undertaken between the recording of studio classics MOONDAWN and DUNE, an era in which the synthesizer god's percolating, percussive proto-electronica was at its peak. "Fire" singer Crazy Arthur Brown makes a guest appearance on the two-disc set's epic closer "Dymagic."
