Mel Rosen sold puzzles for over 40 years. He cowrote a sought-after crossword-constructing manual, cofounded the CrosSynergy crossword syndicate, and, for more than 25 years, edited crosswords for several publishers. Rosen also wrote the first computer program to help puzzle writers.
