If you're unfamiliar with this female vocal quartet, this album makes for an excellent introduction to their gloriously arranged a capella harmonies. Here, they put their distinctive stamp on holiday tunes ranging from swinging modern numbers like "Merry Christmas Baby" and warm, fuzzy chestnuts like "White Christmas" to ancient carols like "Fum Fum Fum." And for fans of modern classical music, the group's breathtaking version of Benjamin Britten's "Balulalow" is worth the purchase price alone. ~ Bret Love
