Overview

Fronted by the country yodeler Wylie Gustafson, this authentic-sounding outfit plays an invigorating set of vintage country & western and rockabilly, including covers of Johnny Cash's "Don't Take Your Guns to Town," the much-performed Music Row classic "True Love Travels on a Gravel Road," and several stellar yodeling songs. The title track is a beautiful steel guitar-laced evocation of the old West, while the sentimental, acoustic "Whispering Hope" harks back to the cowboy songs of the 1930s and '40s.
