Besides being an author, Claire is also an elementary school educator and nanny. Currently, she lives with her beloved black dog in the Chicago land area. While she had extra time on her hands during the pandemic, she discovered her passion for writing children's books. Claire has recently become an aunt and decided to dedicate her first published story The Unfair Pair to her nephew.

Aside from writing and teaching, Claire also enjoys hiking, reading, and snow skiing in the winter time. In addition, she is a world traveler and loves to visit new places and teach abroad.
