His middle grades Haunted Mystery Series from Random House (THE CROSSROADS, THE HANGING HILL, THE SMOKY CORRIDOR, and THE BLACK HEART CRYPT) has won Anthony and Agatha Awards. Chris is also a New York Times best-selling author of award-winning mysteries and thrillers for adults.
Chris has written for Jim Henson’s Muppets and co-wrote THE CHRISTMAS GIFT, starring John Denver, a made for TV movie that first aired on CBS and still shows up on cable every holiday season.
His new middle grades caper series RILEY MACK AND THE OTHER KNOWN TROUBLEMAKERS will be published by Harper Collins in 2012. He is also working on a new book, ESCAPE FROM MR. LEMONCELLO’S LIBRARY, for Random House.
